Discover the SwissPass universe and its services
SwissPass facilitates your access to public transport: the SwissPass card or the SwissPass Mobile is your support for your travel passes. The SwissPass login is the entry key to buy your tickets and travel passes on the tpg webshop and on the tpgPreview app. You can also take advantage of numerous special offers and partner services with SwissPass Plus.

Why do I need to create a SwissPass login?
The SwissPass login becomes the unique entry key for all online sales sites and public transport applications in Switzerland.
The SwissPass login is now required to connect to your customer area on the tpg webshop and on the app. With your SwissPass login, you can access the purchase or renewal of your travel passes or tickets online. -
What do I need to create my SwissPass login?
1. I already have a SwissPass card
Bring your SwissPass card and enter your customer number, postal code and date of birth. Your customer number is indicated on the front of your SwissPass card, a 10-digit number, in the format 000-000-000-0.2. I don't have a SwissPass card
Complete the form with your last name, first name, date of birth and address. Your SwissPass login then allows you to buy only tickets and day passes.

Where can I find my SwissPass customer number?
Your customer number is indicated on the front of your SwissPass card, a 10-digit number, in the format 000-000-000-0.

Can I access the tpg webshop or the tpgPreview app without a SwissPass card?
Yes, you can create a login without a SwissPass card. Tickets and day passes can only be purchased.
To buy or renew travel passes, it is necessary to have a SwissPass card. You can order your card free of charge on the webshop or in one of our tpg agencies. -
Can I change my customer account?
On swisspass.ch, you can change your account information (address, e-mail, phone number, etc.) in the “Customer Data” section. You can also go to a tpg branch or call our advisers by phone on 00800 022 021 20.

How do I change my password?
On swisspass.ch, you can change your password in the “Login data” section.

Can I delete my SwissPass customer account?
You can delete your customer account on swisspass.ch in the “Settings/Login Details” section.

Where can I find my purchase history and receipts?
Your receipts are no longer available in your personal space on the tpg webshop. Your receipts were e-mailed to you at the time of purchase. You can also get them by contacting our advisers on 00800 022 021 20 or in one of our tpg agencies.
As usual, find your valid and expired travel passes in the “My transport tickets” tab. -
Can I find the “My Travelers” list?
Unfortunately it is not possible to find your list of travelers. You will have to enter the necessary data again.

Can I find the “My Family” and “My Duo” list?
Yes, this information is well stored in your webshop customer area.

Can I find my bank card registered during my previous online purchase?
No, for security reasons, you will have to fill in your bank details again.

With the login change, how should I proceed to request the financial contribution of my municipality?
You must create a SwissPass login to access your webshop customer area, then you will be able to access the offers of the municipalities. A question about municipal offers? Please consult the dedicated FAQ.

Before the login change, I had obtained an offer from my municipality or company. How can I find it?
Any offer validated before the login change is retained for you, your children, your spouse or another traveler linked to your account.
All you need to do is log in with your SwissPass login and make sure that your SwissPass card is properly linked to your account.
Attention: offers from municipalities may be limited in time and by a quota decided by the municipality. -
I created my SwissPass login without entering my customer number
You can always link your card to your account on swisspass.ch at a later time. From your webshop profile, click on “Link your SwissPass card to your profile” and enter your customer number, NPA and date of birth.

My email is already associated with a SwissPass card that is not mine
Log in to your swisspass.ch account with this e-mail. You can change the login e-mail from the “My Account” tab, “Login Data” menu.

What is the Family offer?
The Family offer lets parents purchase a unireso Tout Genève Junior travel pass for their children at a discount.
Parent must be in possession of a valid unireso Tout Genève travel pass to benefit from the Family offer for their children aged between 6 and 24.

What is the Duo offer?
The Duo offer lets holders of a valid unireso Tout Genève Adult travel pass provide their partners living in the same household with a discounted unireso Tout Genève travel pass (CHF 450.- for the yearly Duo travel pass and CHF 65.- for the monthly Duo travel pass).

How do I add my children to my Family offer?
You can add your children's profiles to your personal account on the Family/Duo Offers tab in the webshop. Simply enter your SwissPass number or tpg number and your date of birth. This can also be done in our tpg agencies.
A copy of your family record book or certificate will be requested as proof.
For online requests to add a child via the webshop, your request will be validated within three working days. Once you receive the confirmation e-mail, you will be able to benefit from the Family offer for your children's travel pass. Remember to check your spam if you do not receive the e-mail.

How do I add my partner to my Duo offer?
You can add your partner to your account on the Family/Duo Offers tab of the webshop by using their SwissPass number or tpg number and date of birth. This can also be done in our tpg agencies.
You will be asked to provide a proof of residence from your partner that is less than three months old. This certificate must be renewed every year.
For online requests to add a partner via the webshop, your request will be validated within three working days. Once you receive the confirmation e-mail, you will be able to benefit from the Duo offer for your partner's travel pass.

How do I take advantage of the Family offer on the webshop?
To get a Junior Family travel pass for your children, you must:
- Be a parent or have parental authority and be in possession of a valid unireso Tout Genève travel pass
- Have added your children to your Family offer either in an agency or on the webshop
You can then order discounted travel passes for your children in the Shop tab by searching for travel passes for your children. The Family discount will automatically be reflected in the price displayed, and the travel pass category will indicate “Family Offer”. For example:

How can I take advantage of the Duo offer on the webshop?
To get a discounted Tout Genève travel pass for your partner, you must:
- Hold a valid full-fare Adult Tout Genève travel pass
- Have added your partner to your Duo offer either in an agency or on the webshop
You can then order the discounted travel for your partner in the "Shop" tab by searching for a travel pass for your partner. The Duo discount will automatically be reflected in the price displayed and the travel pass category will indicate “Duo Offer”. For example:

Can I take advantage of the Family and Duo offers at the same time?
Yes, you can use both the Duo offer for your partner and the Family offer for your children.

Can my child purchase a Junior Family travel pass from their account?
Yes. If your children are added to your Family in your 'parent' account, they will be able to buy their own travel pass from their own webshop account and benefit from the Family offer until they turn 25.

My child benefits from a common subsidy on his or her Junior pass. Can he or she combine this with the Family offer?
Yes, the common subsidy on your child's Junior pass can be combined with the Family offer.

I can't find my Family members when I check my webshop account, why is that?
Your children may no longer appear in your webshop account if the Family offer is no longer valid. This happens if your child reaches 25 years old, the maximum age to benefit from the offer. At that point, he/she will then be automatically removed from the Family tab of your webshop account.

My partner has a subsidized travel pass, can he/she also benefit from the Duo offer?
Yes, subsidies from a social entity, a municipality, or a company can be combined with the Duo offer.

I have an yearly unireso travel pass purchased in instalments and I can't get the Family/Duo offer for my child/partner.
Pay-as-you-go travel passes do not qualify for the Family/Duo offer.

Does my monthly travel pass give me the right to a Family/Duo discount for my child's/partner's yearly travel pass?
No, only a yearly travel pass grants you the right to a Family/Duo discount on a yearly or monthly travel pass. A monthly travel pass only entitles your child/partner to a discount on another monthly travel pass.

Do I qualify for a subsidy from my company?
Please consult your company's transport and/or HR policy.
By logging on to the webshop or visiting an agency, you can access any subsidies offered by your employer. If no subsidies are visible, please contact your company's HR managers.

How do I get my company subsidy?
Once your company has validated your subsidy entitlement, you can apply your subsidy to your purchase, either on the tpg webshop by doing a travel pass search or in the agency.
You will only pay the difference, if any, between the travel pass price and the proposed subsidy.

I can't use my company subsidy. Who can I contact?
Please contact your company's manager to find out if your subsidy has been activated.

I am entitled to a company subsidy on a yearly Tout Genève travel pass, but I would like to use it on a monthly travel pass. What can I do?
Your employer has defined which type(s) of travel pass the subsidy applies to.
If you do not qualify for the subsidy on certain products, please contact your company's manager for more information.

Can I combine the Duo and Family offers with my company's subsidies?
Yes, you can combine the Duo and Family offers and still benefit from your employer's subsidy.
However, subsidies from municipalities cannot be combined with those from your company.

Is my subsidy valid when I buy in an agency?
First, check if you are eligible for a subsidy.
If this is the case, and you do not want to buy your travel pass online, you have the option to buy it in one of our tpg agencies. The subsidy will be applied to your purchase.

How do I know if my municipality subsidizes my travel pass ?
Go to the tab "Offer from my municipality" and enter the name of your municipality. If your municipality offers a subsidy, you will find all the information you need there.

I can't use my municipality subsidy
a. You live in either the city of Geneva or in Vernier, Lancy, Versoix or Perly? The subsidy is applied automatically. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service at 00800 022 021 20 (free call) or visit one of our tpg agencies.
b. You live in another municipality ? Confirm your registration and validation by accessing the tab "Offer from my municipality" with the name of your municipality and your personal information. If you are still unable to use your subsidy, please contact our customer service at 00800 022 021 20 or visit one of our tpg branches.

Can I buy a subsidized travel pass from my municipality for my children ?
Yes, you will have to create a client account on the tpg webshop in your name or create an account for each of your children.

How can I receive information about offers in my municipality ?
Go to the "My Notifications" area in the drop-down menu at the top right of the webshop and authorize sending of information by e-mail for "Your Customer Benefits".

How can I buy my subsidized travel pass from my municipality without going through the webshop ?
Visit one of our three tpg agencies.

Can I combine the Duo and Family offers with the subsidies from my municipality ?
Yes, you can combine the Duo and Family offers and still benefit from the subsidies of your municipality of residence.
However, subsidies from municipalities cannot be combined with those from your company.

Why was my credit card declined?
Your credit card may be declined for one of the following reasons:
- your card has expired.
- you may have reached the limit of your card's available amount.
- some of the data you entered is incorrect (card number, expiry date, three-digit security code)

Can I log in without using a client number?
Yes.
You can also register without a client number; however, the tpg webshop’s features will be limited.
We recommend that you create your webshop account and link your tpg account to your SwissPass card in order to take advantage of everything that the tpg webshop offers.

Is paying by credit card totally secure on the website?
Yes.
The data is transmitted in encrypted form and no bank data is stored.
The computer servers are located in Switzerland and use the highest security standards in terms of data protection.

Which payment methods are accepted and are they secure?
The accepted methods of payment are: Visa, MasterCard, PostFinance Card, Maestro international, American Express, PayPal.
The amount of your order will be automatically debited from the corresponding account.
All transactions are secure.
On the payment page, you can select the payment method and can save this data on the secure Swiss servers of SIX Payement Services Ltd. If necessary, you can also validate your information via 3D-Secure.
No banking data is kept on tpg’s servers.

Can I use my username and password from swisspass.ch to log in to the tpg webshop?
Yes.
If you have already created an active account on swisspass.ch, you can use the same account data to log in to the tpg webshop without having to create a new account.

How is my travel pass activated on my SwissPass card?
Once you have made your purchase and validated your payment, your unireso travel pass will immediately be activated on the chosen start date.
You will receive a confirmation of your purchase by e-mail (sales receipt in PDF format).
The sales receipt will be available for download on your personal webshop space under the heading "Purchase History".

How long does it take to receive my SwissPass card?
Your SwissPass card should be delivered 5 to 10 days after order confirmation.

What is the transitional SwissPass card?
When you order a SwissPass card for the first time, it will only be physically created and sent to your home address if you have submitted a valid photo at the agency.
While waiting for the SwissPass card to be created and delivered, you can print out a temporary card valid for 14 days so that you can travel by public transport in the areas covered by the travel pass you ordered on the Webshop.
Presenting this temporary SwissPass card during an on-board check shows the ticket inspector that you have ordered a valid travel pass, saving you from any hassle.

What is the SwissPass?
Like a wallet holding your bank cards, the SwissPass is a wallet holding all your tickets and transport passes acquired and valid in Switzerland.

I've lost my SwissPass card. What should I do?
Go to the SwissPass page of your Webshop or to thetpg agency of your choice to order a new card.
Replacement due to loss, change of name or any damages caused by you costs CHF 30.
For any technical defects, your card will be replaced free of charge.

What is the difference between the client number and the SwissPass card number?
The client number is a ten-digit number. It is unique and specific to every holder of a tpg travel pass.
This number is written on your basic card and your yearly/monthly tpg travel pass. It is used for personal identification in the tpg client database.
The card number corresponds to the number of your SwissPass card. It changes when you receive a new SwissPass.

What is the tpg webshop?
The tpg webshop is your personal space to buy your yearly and monthly travel passes for zones in Geneva and the surrounding areas.
If you have a SwissPass card, you can buy unireso “All Geneva” and “Region” travel passes on the tpg webshop.
Bringing your card with you will make it easier to register on the tpg webshop, as having your client number will speed up the account creation process.

I can't access the HG monthly travel pass in the webshop
You need to check with your referrer that you are still receiving assistance from the Hospice Général and that you have given them your SwissPass customer number.
Check that you have entered your SwissPass customer number in your webshop profile via the "SwissPass" menu.
If you have any problems in the webshop, please go to a tpg agency to obtain your travel pass.

How do I get my HG monthly travel pass in the webshop?
To obtain your travel pass, you must have a valid SwissPass card linked to your webshop profile and have given your SwissPass customer number to your Hospice Général contact.

I can't access the SPC travel pass in the webshop
You should check with your reference institution to ensure that your entitlement to supplementary benefits is still valid.
Check that you have entered your SwissPass customer number in your webshop profile via the "SwissPass" menu.
Please note that only one renewal is possible in the webshop. For a first subscription, or if you have problems using the webshop, go to a tpg agency to obtain your travel pass.

The system deemed my photo “non-compliant”. Why?
Uploaded photos must meet several acceptance criteria (sharpness, format and size of the photo file in bytes). If these criteria are not met, the system will refuse your photo and ask for another one.

What about the protection of my personal data?
Data protection is very important to us and personal data is treated as strictly confidential.
Certain personal data is collected online expressly when Internet customers register in order to access certain tpg services, in particular customer service.
Registration gives tpg the opportunity to collect information such as first names, last names, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone, mobile and fax numbers.
tpg reserves the right to save the data of any person who sends an e-mail (electronic mail) to a tpg employee or to the person responsible for the website, in particular in order to send replies or to inform said person of the follow-up on his/her request.

Using existing data to avoid filling out a new client master record
When creating your account in our webshop, we will search for your contact details (personal data) in our tpg client database.
You provided us with this data during your visit to a tpg agency when you purchased your very first travel pass (yearly, monthly, weekly).
Once you have filled in your client or SwissPass number, this data will appear on the screen. This is known as using existing data, which means that you do not have to fill in all the required fields again.

Who can I contact for more information?
You can contact tpg customer service for any questions or requests for information regarding the processing of your personal data.
The person responsible for processing your data (the data manager) is the company Transports publics genevois (tpg, CHE-108.954.323), whose head office is located at route de la Chapelle 1, 1212 Grand-Lancy 1.
