Travel in good standing

Paying your ticket allows tpg to continue to offer quality services throughout the area. It also means saving costs and time!

Are you one of the 97% of travelers who pay for their ticket?

Having a valid transport ticket is mandatory to travel on our network and we offer several solutions to facilitate the purchase of your ticket, day pass or even travel pass.

Where and how can you buy your ticket or travel pass?

From home, on the network or simply with your phone, you have several ways at your disposal to buy your ticket, day pass or travel pass.

Forgot your travel pass?

If you are a pass holder but do not have your SwissPass travel pass or card with you at the time of the check, a report will be issued to you. You will then have 10 days to present your travel pass, for the sum of CHF 5.00, at one of our agencies or at our reports department. Without presenting a travel pass, a fee will be charged which you can pay online.

Note that, in application of national tariff provisions (T600), public carriers in Switzerland share data on free riders on a national register. Recidivism is therefore calculated at the national level. Thus, a person who has been checked without a valid ticket in Bern and who is again checked without a valid transport ticket in Geneva will be considered to be a repeat offender by tpg, even if they had never been fined in Geneva before.

Any traveler may submit a written request at any time, indicating his/her name, his/her
address and date of birth to find out if data exist about him/her. The applicant must attach a copy of his/her passport or identity card to the request. The request for information can be sent directly to CarPostal at the following address:
