New on the network as of July 4, 2021
From Sunday, July 4, travelers in the Bernex sector will benefit from the extension of Tramline 14 to Bernex-Vailly, where a new P+R parking lot is planned for commuters from la Champagne and border regions. In addition, due to the extension of Line 15 to the industrial zone of Plan-les-Ouates (ZIPLO), Lines 12, 15 and 18 will be disrupted this summer at their terminus in Palettes. Other news, in particular resumption of Noctambus services, route improvements and the creation of new lines, will make it even easier for you to travel on our public transport network.
Line 14
By extending tramline 14, tpg is reinforcing service in Bernex and bringing the municipality closer to Bel-Air and Cornavin. A 2.3 km vegetated route extends the line from Confignon-Croisée to Bernex-Vailly. The new stops served are:
-
Bernex P+R
-
Bernex Pré-Marais
-
Bernex-Luchepelet
-
Bernex-Hainard
-
Bernex-Vailly
In addition, a new 300-space P+R parking lot, constructed next to the Bernex-Vailly stop, will allow passengers to easily switch from car to the tramway when heading towards the City of Geneva.
New connections
Extension of Line 14 offers new connections for inhabitants of la Champagne and border regions, who will now be directly connected to the tramway network at Bernex-Vailly instead of having to cross Bernex.
- Connection with lines J K 63 at the Bernex-Vailly stop.
- Connection with Line 70 at the Bernex-Luchepelet stop.
Line 63 towards Viry
New terminus in Bernex-Vailly, easier connection with Line 14.
Construction site: extension of the tramway to ZIPLO
Following the extension of Line 15 to the industrial zone of Plan-les-Ouates (ZIPLO), lines 12 15 18 have been modified.

Line 18
Line 18 is extended by 2 stops, with a new temporary terminus at Pontets.
Line 15
Line 15 will end at Grand-Lancy-Place du 1er-Août. The Lancy-Piscine and Palettes stops are no longer served.

New lines
Line 50
The route of Line 50 is modified between Palexpo and the Colovrex sector to serve the village center of Grand-Saconnex and to connect the latter with Genthod and Versoix. Travelers from Genthod and Versoix will be able to connect to lines 5, 53, and F in Grand-Saconnex. Line 50 no longer serves the Freight sector, which has been taken over by the new 54 line.
Line 54
The new 54 line aims to maintain service to the Freight area of Geneva Airport from Versoix and also to offer service to sectors currently far from public transport stops. Line 54 therefore connects Versoix to the Airport via the Freight sector in about 20 minutes. It offers new service to the heights of Versoix, as well as the hamlets of Crest-d'El and Machefer. This line runs only from Monday to Friday, morning, noon and evening.
New stop
Line 38
The new "Sous Pressy" stop is set up on the route de Meinier at the intersection with the chemin des Princes. This stop is located between the Rouette and Vendœuvres-Centre communal stops.
Noctambus is back
After several months of interruption due to the health crisis, the entire night service, i.e. the urban lines and Noctambus, will resume on Friday, July 2, 2021, according to the usual timetables.
