Strong disruptions on the tpg network during the presidential summit in Geneva

From Monday, June 14 to Thursday, June 17, the entire tpg network will be subject to major disruptions due to the American-Russian meeting in Geneva. tpg services will depend on the security arrangements put in place for the event. Disruptions, delays, and route changes or even cancelations are to be expected at this time.

As of Monday, June 14, lines operating near locations that will be subject to increased activity will be affected. 

List of sectors

  • Geneva Airport: Lines
  • Place des Nations: Lines
  • Gare Cornavin: Lines
  • The Eaux-Vives district: Lines
  • Traffic delays are expected on the route de Meyrin, avenue Louis-Casaï, the route de Chêne and the route de Jussy. 
  • Changes will also be made to the network according to the different diplomatic convoys.

tpg will do its utmost to directly manage these disruptions as best as possible. On Wednesday, June 16, authorities recommend that, as far as possible, you avoid non-essential travel, opt for teleworking and organize your travel in advance. The Léman Express is a possible travel alternative.
