A little history
The Bains des Pâquis have existed since 1872. First built in wood, then extended in 1889 on piles, they were rebuilt in solid form by the City of Geneva in 1932.
In 1890, the Bains became public and municipal. They cost money from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and were free on Sundays and public holidays.
A few free hours were reserved for women in order to avoid promiscuity.

As parking can be hard to find in the city, we strongly advise you to come on foot, by bike, by motorcycle or by public transport. A large bicycle parking lot is located at the entrance to the Bains des Pâquis pier. Lines 1 and 25 serve the Bains des Pâquis.

You can also cross the lake from one side to the other in a few minutes by taking the "Mouettes Genevoises".
With a jump-the-line ticket, you can go from the Jet d’eau to the Bains des Pâquis and from the Bains des Pâquis to Genève Plage in no time.
