Notice of Disruption | “Tivoli” footbridge route de Chancy weekend of July 31
From July 31 to August 1, 2022, the tpg network will experience disruptions due to the implementation of the Tivoli footbridge. The route de Chancy, at the height of Rampe Quidort and the route de St-Georges, will be closed to traffic, which will impact several tram and bus lines. Line 14 will be served by shuttle buses between the stops "Bernex-Vailly" and "Cornavin". Line 2 towards Genève-Plage will see its route pass through Lancy-Pont-Rouge. Line 19 between "Cirque" and "Onex-Cité" will be operated by buses. Line 18 will be temporarily diverted by the Coulouvrenière bridge towards Les Palettes. Find detailed information line by line.
Disruptions in detail
Line 14
Replacement buses run between the "Gare Cornavin" and "Bernex-Vailly" stops in both directions.
- The departure stop of the buses is located next to the Basilica of Notre-Dame, stop in common with Lines E+ G+.
- The stop "Bel-Air" direction Meyrin is moved in common with Lines 3 5 7 10 19 20.
- The "Quidort" stop is not served in both directions.
- Direction Meyrin, the stop "Petit-Lancy-Place" is moved to Place des Ormeaux, stop in common with Lines 21 J K.
Line 18
The route of Line 18 will be modified towards Palettes between the stops "Gare Cornavin" and "Plainpalais".
- The stops "Coutance", "Bel-Air", "Stand" and "Place de Neuve" will not be served.
- The "Plainpalais" stop will be moved next to the Rond-Point café.
Line 2
The schedules of Line 2 towards Genève-Plage, between the stops "Cressy" and "Claire-Vue" will be 6 minutes different from the schedule posted at the stops. All Line 2 buses will depart 6 minutes early.
Line 2 towards Genève-Plage will see its route pass through Lancy-Pont-Rouge. All stops will be served.
Line 19
Replacement buses run between the "Cirque" and "Onex-Cité" stops via Lancy-Pont-Rouge. All stops will be served.
