Notice of disruption | Geneva Pride September 11
On Saturday, September 11, 2021, the tpg network will be subject to major disruptions due to the Pride March that will be held during Geneva Pride. From 12:00 p.m. to around 8:00 p.m., several lines will be redirected or canceled. The following sectors will be particularly concerned: quai Wilson, quai du Mont-Blanc, pont du Mont-Blanc, place du Port, rue du Rhône, rue Pierre-Fatio, Rive, rue de Rive, rue de la Croix-d'Or, rue du Marché, rue de la Confédération, rue de la Corraterie, Place de Neuve.
tpg asks travelers to use the Léman Express and the shuttle boats to make trips from one shore to the other and in the Greater Geneva area easier.
All information in detail
Line 1
The line will run along Rue de Lausanne between Gare Cornavin and Perle du Lac, in both directions.
Tips and tricks
To reach the Pâquis district, take Line 25.
Line 2
The line will run between Place des Eaux-Vives and Genève-Plage.
Tips and tricks
- For the route to Onex, take Lines 1 and 9 to 31-décembre to reach the Cirque stop and make the connection with Line 19.

For the route to Genève-Plage, take Line 19 to the Cirque stop, then Lines 1 and 9 to Terrassière to reach the Rive and Eaux-Vives districts and make the connection with Line 2 at Place-des-Eaux-Vives stop.
Line 3
The line will be split in two. It will run between Gardiol and Bel-Air and between Crêts-de-Champel and Claparède.
Tips and tricks
- In the direction of Champel, take Lines 1 or 5 to Stand to reach the ospital.
- From Gardiol, take Lines 1 and 5 to Claprède to reach Gare Cornavin.
Line 5
The line will be redirected from Claparède via Plainpalais and then via Pont de la Coulouvrenière to the Stand stop. The line does not serve the Place de Neuve and Bel-Air area.
Line 6
The line will not run for the duration of the event.
Tips and tricks
Take Line 19, which connects Vernier and Bel-Air. To travel between Gare Cornavin and the Eaux-Vives district, take Lines 1 and 9.
Line 7
The line will only run between Lignon-Tours and Délices.
Tips and tricks
To travel between Délices and Terrassière (Rive district), take Line 9.
Line 8
The line will be split in two. It will run between Veyrier and Museum and between Appia and Gare Cornavin.
Tips and tricks
To travel between Gare Cornavin and Muséum, take Lines 5 and 25.
Line 9
The line will be redirected between Terrassière and Gare Cornavin via Plainpalais and Pont de la Coulouvrenière. It will not serve the Mont-Blanc, Métropole, and Rive stops.
Line 10
The line will end at Bel-Air (quai).
Line 12
The line will run between Lancy-Bachet-Gare and Plainpalais. A replacement bus will be available between Terrassière and Moillesulaz.
Tips and tricks
To reach Rive and the shuttle bus, take Lines 1 and 9 to Terrassière.
Line 17
The line will run between Moillesulaz and Annemasse-Parc Montessuit. A replacement bus will be available between Moillesulaz and Terrassière.
Tips and tricks
To travel between Lancy-Pont-Rouge-Gare and Terrassière, take Line 15 which connects Lancy-Pont-Rouge-Gare to Plainpalais/Pont-d'Arve, then Lines 1 and 9 which connect Plainpalais/Pont-d'Arve to Terrassière.
Line 18
The line will be diverted between Plainpalais and Gare Cornavin via Stand and Pont de la Coulouvrenière.
Line 20
The line will end at Gare Cornavin.
Tips and tricks
To travel between Gare Cornavin and Place de Neuve, take Line 18.
Line 25
The line will be diverted between Gare Cornavin and Terrassière via Pont de la Coulouvrenière and Plainpalais.
Lines 33 A E G
These lines will end at Place des Eaux-Vives.
Line 36
The line will not run for the duration of the event.
Recommendation
The shuttle boats and the Léman Express will run as normal during the event.
Go from one shore to the other quickly by the shuttle boats with a Zone 10 unireso "Saut de puce" ticket at CHF 2.- (full fare) or CHF 1.80.- (reduced fare).
The Léman Express trains also let you move around the Greater Geneva area hassle-free (price varies according to your destination).
